Reagan was raised in Hickory Plains and graduated from Des Arc high school. Soon after high school Reagan started working in construction under the guidance of his Papa, otherwise known as Brother Jim Wiley. For a few years Reagan soaked up as much knowledge as Papa Jim could bestow upon him. In 2009 he branched out on his own, establishing Covington Building. In the early years, Reagan did many handyman jobs as well as trying his hand at his first solo new construction for himself and his growing family. For the first several years of Reagan’s construction career he was also a Jacksonville firefighter. As Covington Building grew, along with his family, it became apparent that he was needed full-time at home and as a contractor. In 2017, Reagan left the Jacksonville fire department and took on construction full-time. The business really took off and hasn’t slowed down a bit! Collaborating with trusted subcontractors and architects, Covington Building has built somewhere close to 50 homes over the last 15 years, as well as completing hundreds of remodels and additions. It cannot go without saying that the success of our business is due to its upstanding staff and customers!
